On Friday, October 26th, my dad had the awesome opportunity of flying on a B-17 from Huntsville to Bessemer. He had a great time and took some beautiful shots of Alabama from the plane (they only flew 2,000 feet off the ground). On the plane with him was the wife of the pilot of the Memphis Belle and a man in his 80's who had flown that exact B-17 about 64 years ago. The plane made a wonderful and safe landing in Bessemer.
