Alabama Homecoming 2007

Alabama Homecoming 2007 was filled with fun, lots of tailgating, thousands of Alabama fans, heat, a few great football plays and lots of stress. My Bama team had a great first quarter and then we went downhill from there. We were so far ahead and everyone assumed that we would win but my team showed that you should never leave a game early (half of the stadium was empty by half-time). I love watching Alabama football but it is so stressful to be on the edge of your seat (or standing up for a long time) because the football team headed home mentally before the game was over. One funny moment of the game was a call by the Houston coach that a play should be replayed because there was a "whistle from the stands" and one of the Houston players moved. After a many moments of laughter because of the call, both teams got into formation and the next sound that was heard was the sound of about 70,000 fans whistling from the stands. It was funny (probably not too funny for the team). The last quarter of the game was a time spent screaming "Defense" and the last 5 seconds of the game were heart-stopping seconds. In the end, Alabama won 30 - 24 but it was not a beautiful win but as many are saying "a win is a win".
