Biblical Resolutions

It is so refreshing to start the new year with a morning spent learning about the Lord.  In Sunday School today, we talked about making decisions and making BIBLICAL RESOLUTIONS not New Year's Resolutions.  Before making a decision, take time, seek advice, weigh effects and listen to God. 

What struck me the most today was the idea of making Biblical Resolutions by asking the following questions:  How can we grow in our inclination to listen to God? What are some decisions we should be making in our marriages?  What principles should guide how we are for/view our bodies?  Should our financial priorities be governed by God's Word?  What other areas should we resolve to submit to the Lord? 

What Biblical Resolutions do you need to make?  I am starting the process of making Biblical Resolutions by going to God in prayer so that I can be shown where He wants me to grow.
